Hi, I’m Shannon…
…a fine art painter inspired by my love for colorful gardens, coastal shorelines, and colorful cities and towns throughout New England.
My art is known for its vibrant color and dreamy energy, blending abstract and post-impressionist styles with expressionist mark-making. Each piece depicts the unique ways I experience the world, including memories, dreams, and travels, as well as visual interpretations of music, poetry and stories.
Painting is a deeply personal healing practice, allowing me to express my grief and emotions while navigating loss, anxiety, and depression. With time at the easel, I find peace and comfort. It’s a continuous journey of expression, exploration, play, and celebrating life through art.
I grew up near Cape Cod, and studied Theater & Design at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. I live outside Hartford, Connecticut, with my husband, Sean, and our awesome kids.
